Game One - Sharks VS Pirates
Sharks 20 Pirates 38. Despite moist conditions, and an opposing roster twice the size, the lads showed incredible heart right from kickoff. Two early scores saw the Sharks up 14-10 at the half, but the boys were unable to hold on against a Pirates outfit that travelled very well from Western Sydney. The enthusiasm from rookies and promoted juniors, and the determination of the veterans kept the Sharks in the game deep in to the fourth quarter. After a disrupted offseason, the 2014 campaign looks sure to excite. Thanks to all our supporters braving the weather and we look forward to seeing you at our next game!
